These Cell Separation Tubes are sterile, pyrogen-free laboratory consumables designed for the efficient separation of components from biological samples, such as whole blood. Each 15 mL tube contains ACD-A solution to act as an anticoagulant and an inert thixotropic gel separator.

In a research context, these tubes are used for density gradient centrifugation.
